Mixing Music and SEO
Posted by borlova on July 4, 2008
Well its a subject thats interesting to me anyway. with the enormous interest in music world wide its a massive area to tackle on its own. Music touches everyone’s lives with such diversity and thanks to the interweb (as me dad calls it) its becoming more accessible than ever. Millions upon Zillions of music tracks available for down load. as well as masses of videos dvds you name it its got to be available.
As far as musicians and artists getting paid for the work that a whooping huge subject again, but hands up now who likes to pay for the music they get, things havn’t changed much since I got me first tape recorder and recorded radio one etc. The principles almost the same no one is going to be able to police the industry……its got too big….people will always find ways round to do what they want. I like the idea of bands or artists asking for donations that was a smart move. Trying to sell anything these days is getting harder people have a huge wad of information to help them make their purchasing choices. The same is true for services such as SEO. Why pay for stuff when you can get it for free has always been one of my theory’s I can see big business needs to pay as it has larger needs and available cash. The small enterprise or entrepreneurs have less to nothing to invest but also need the skills and services as much if not more than the big business in order to compete. My sympathy is for the small business and the struggling music artists of this world and I include myself in this group. Thrashing around like drowning fish in a massive pond its not any more a closed world, where the media such as Newspapers, radio and TV gave you the information on which to base your judgements. Its a bloody nightmare of a world with people all gagging for the same exposure, Mark my words this world will change beyond all control sooner or later i can see someone with a big white fluffy cat sitting in power in the world controlling all our lives with the flick of a switch poof the internets down…then what the hell would we all do?
go back to gardening, reading books, listening to music, going for a walk, fishing, playing golf, football…playing with your kids or going out with your partner for a romantic walk.
Well life goes on and the internet wont disappear overnight, it will be interesting to see how things pan out in the next few years what the next big thing to change our lives will be will SEO become a dying art /skill set? who knows things change so fast with technology but basic human needs dont. We all need Water, food, shelter and love. As well of lots of money for doing a sterling Job so we can go out fishing or buy the latest pc upgrade…life sucks sometimes, but sometimes it comes up and bites you on the arse.
Nice sunny day here, so off out to watch the people go about their lives doing the mundane things us people have to do. I want someone to invent a teletransporter which you could go instantly to another place in the world like on a nice relaxing tropical beach.
